Both seat designs use reclaimed concrete paving slabs to form earth retaining walls with reclaimed timber seats.

The bench version was designed for a camomile lawn. It is integrated with the lawn, allowing the camomile to grow up to the edge of the seat. The scent is released when the plant is brushed with the hand.

The seat version was designed for a sloping site. Built off angled foundations, the wall leans into the slope, creating a strong and stable retaining wall. The comfortable flowing shape of the seat makes efficient use of the timber by creating two identical components from each rectangular section of wood with one cut.

Both designs are highly adaptable to specific sites and can be constructed from a range of materials.
