Why they contacted us
We had previously re designed their ground floor layout and they asked us to look at their bathroom.
What they wanted to achieve
Their existing bathroom was cold, damp and quite small with the separate toilet taking up valuable floor area. they wanted us to create a high quality robust family bathroom for their growing family.
What we did
We knocked the separate toilet and bathroom together creating a larger space with more light.
As part of the refurbishment we upgraded the thermal performance of the uninsulated wall with internal insulation, bringing it up to current building regulations when the cavity is filled. The new layout allows for a bath as well as a separate shower and maximises the floor space.
Our Involvement
We drew up detailed construction plans and helped the client get quotes for the general building work. Tandem oversaw the construction of the project and supplied much of the fixtures and fittings. We designed and fitted a long solid beech unit, shelving and and end wall of cupboards, all to a very high standard.
